Recipe - Venison Meat Loaf

Meat Loaf has got to be just about the easiest thing to prepare; and yet it is so satisfying. My friend Doug gave me a pound of venison and this is what I came up with. Save the extra evaporated milk for the garlic mashed potatoes!

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground venison
1 lb ground pork
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup dehydrated onions
1/3 cup ketchup
3 T Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t salt
1/4 t black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, I like to use a wooden fork.
  3. Spray a baking dish with non stick spray or brush with oil
  4. Put meat mixture into bowl and shape it
  5. Bake for about an hour or until the internal temperature reaches 140°
