Eastport Maine is a sleepy harbor town, the eastern most ‘city’ in the U.S. Nancy and I made a day trip from her cottage in Danforth on Labor Day weekend. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, (eight hours from Boston!!) I highly recommend it.
The lobster for these hefty rolls is mixed to order with your choice of butter, mayo or miracle whip! After placing our order, (butter please), we selected a picnic table on the bay. A few minutes later the server delivered said rolls across the parking lot to our waterfront view.
The Two lobster rolls and three pounds of steamers later, we were ‘hooked’!
